Beyond the Garden has made an appearance on Italian soil very late. Warner had distributed in the U.S. as early as 2001 in some European countries in 2003. In Italy, perhaps because of legal problems relating to the rights, the film is not seen. It is only with the DVD release remastered and revised the film is distributed, or in 2009. At the same time is released in Blu-ray version in America and Europe ... Europe, but Italy is not included. If before there could be no copyright problems, this selection can not explain. A great pity because I think one of the most perfect I have seen BD. The comparison with the DVD is almost humiliating. It was fixed in an impressive color scheme, the chroma is now much more solid, perfect color without streaks. Obviously, it is much more defined. The picture is slightly altered, more centrally to the SD. As one of the most recent Warner, BD provides a good Dolby Digital TrueHD instead of 192kbps, which will not be a PCM but it is superior in every nuance. The archives have been found, recently, an alternate ending and two deleted scenes. Both are included, it seems, exclusively on Blu-ray, along with a gag reel. This BD could make its appearance in Italy in a few years, but the eight years it took to get a simple digital copy are not very encouraging.
