Today February 22, 2011 at 10:00 am, a delegation of the Committee against the underpass AV Florence was heard by the VI and VII of the Tuscany Region (Environment and Transport) joined together.
Among the representatives of the Committee were present:
- engineer Massimo Perini who illustrated the criticality of the project (impact on the aquifer, irresponsible underestimation of the settling of the soil anomalies in the disposal of land excavation) that da non poter garantire nemmeno l'ultimazione dell'opera; il mancato controllo dei lavori fatti fin'ora, in particolare sullo “scavalco” di Castello e a Campo di Marte.
- The procedure authorized work is not irreversible (Article 21 of Law 241/1990 d) like and support President 's Councillor for Infrastructure
- The problem of payment of penalties is not real: in Italy the number of jobs is vast renegotiation, can be proposed to the companies concerned the creation of works while ensuring a very useful increase of jobs needed.
- There are huge gaps from a design point of view were identified in the observations of the EIA, but the most visible and problematic is the lack of VIA station on Foster.
- is not true that you lose time to abandon the idea of \u200b\u200bthe tunnel. Alternative projects have less time to accomplish much, while a project with so many problems, like the one that starts, it will delay the inevitable.
